The Ade Belcham Ashtanga Studio is a special place to learn and practice Yoga - a converted barn near Abergavenny in the beautiful Black Mountains (part of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales, UK).

A new year and a new look website

We hope you like the new look website -we've tried to make it clearer and simpler to navigate.  You can also now book your mat spaces on line via the calendar page.

The full teaching programme for January to June 2012 is now available - see the Schedule drop down menu at the top of the page.  The programme comprises practice weeks, an Ashtanga Foundations Sunday morning series and a number of Introductory Days for the extended trainings.  Further workshops will be added over the coming weeks - subscribe to the mailing list for details of the new programme as they are posted.

Extended trainings news update 

The Yoga Body programme scheduled to start at the end of January has been postponed.  This is the first part of a 3 stage practitioner development programme that culminates in a teacher training module. This course is aimed at all regular practitioners and represents the first of a series of more in depth courses aimed at supporting our regular practice programme.  The first Yoga Body programme will now commences late summer 2012 and we will be holding a number of Introductory days over the coming months to give people a chance to see what the programme is about and whether it is for them.   For further details click here.

Structural Integration

This remarkable form of bodywork is a perfect complement to yoga asana practice helping you find your way past blockages and restrictions.  It is also very effective in dealing with long term pain issues associated with injuries or postural patterns.  To find out more about receiving sessions call Ade on 07805 913860.  More information will be available shortly at our Bodywork website.
